- Insulated Glass Unit — two or more glass panes separated by spacers and sealed with desiccant, used in energy-efficient windows and façades.
- SHGC
- Solar Heat Gain Coefficient — the fraction of solar radiation admitted through a glass unit. ECBC mandates SHGC limits per building type and climate zone.
- PVB / EVA
- Polyvinyl Butyral / Ethylene Vinyl Acetate — interlayer materials used in laminated glass. PVB is the global standard; EVA is gaining ground for solar / decorative applications.
